The 1999 IFOLG Annual Show

This page is an index of photos from the International Federation Of Leather Guilds Annual Show that took place October, 1999. The IFOLG Annual Show is looked forward to by Leathercrafters and Leather Guilds from around the world all year long. This year, the IILG theme was computer related items made of leather, since we are a bunch of computer users. :) See below for the on-line version, and pictures from the show!

  1. Image 01 -- Bill Gomer's picture that was put up for raffle.
  2. Image 08 -- The IILG display table. Looks kind of bare, huh?
  3. Image 09 -- Bill Gomer's half-size, fully-tooled saddle that was in the display room.
  4. Image 10 -- Roz Kaohn's 1st place jewelry box.
  5. Image 12 -- Armin Dobstetter's 1st place motorcycle seat. Leather cut-out piece was stitched over stingray. Also, the "braided" effect along edge was actually created using two stamps.
  6. Image 21 -- Masked mandolin, on Leder-Guild's display table.
  7. Image 22 -- Leather mask, on Leder-Guild's display table. The "lines" are actually very thin pieces of leather that are rolled tightly.
  8. Image 23 -- Ornate leather boot, on Leder-Guild's display table.
  9. Image 25 -- Tony Laier's beautiful fawn, displayed with Leder-Gilde. Notice leaves at top that overlap his frame. He did a beautiful job on this picture.
  10. Image 28 -- Armin Dobstetter's motorcycle seat, on Leder-Guild's display table. There were very tiny holes punched throughout the seat area in which you could see a silver backing show through them. Also nicely done.
  11. Image 29 -- Leather box done by Leder-Gilde member Toshikazu Yazawa from Japan.
  12. Image 30 -- Bill Gomer's tooled, western saddle (full size)--No. 1.
  13. Image 31 -- Another tooled saddle done by Bill Gomer on display--No. 2.
